Clinique Generale-Beaulieu

Clinique Generale-Beaulieu is Multi-disciplinary in its approach, the clinic counts more than 450 staff and nearly 600 licensed physicians. A total of 134 beds are available. The facilities include six nursing units, seven operating theatres, one reanimation center, as well as six specialty centres of international reputation :

• The Institute of Radiology;
• The Institute of Nuclear Medicine;
• The Robot-Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery Center;
• The Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Center;
• The Maternity Unit;
• The Physiotherapy and Functional Rehabilitation Center.

The history of the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, is first and foremost a history of doctors…  

In 1899, men and women resolved to enable Genevan physicians and surgeons to treat and operate themselves on their patients near the city centre resulting in the creation, at Champel, of the Clinique Générale. The Clinique Beaulieu, was in turn established during the first world war.

When it opened, it was the most modern clinic in Switzerland. These two Genevan institutions united their destinies seventy years later and created in the summer of 1983 the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, in a residential area near the city centre, with a superb view of the Salève and the Voirons.

The Clinic's purpose is to care for sick or injured patients and mothers-to-be referred to us by licensed Doctors :
