Ph.D. Lucia Barajas, Regenerative Medicine - Tlaquepaque, Mexico

She is a Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist with more than 15 years of Experience. She obtained her doctorate degree at University of Guadalajara in 2010. Her studies and expertise focuses on Leukemia and how this generates abnormalities at the Chromosomal level. She has been awarded a recognition by CIBO-IMSS as a Distinguish National Investigator in 2013 and 2016. She is the Head of Operations in Centro de Biotecnologia Santer. Since little, Dr. Barajas, had a lot of interest for Biology subjects. She wanted to change the world and help the society to fight against diabetes and leukemia, both important emerging diseases. With her expertise and the Nobel techniques she is developing; she was able to help hundreds of patients to fight against those, including kids.
