COMPREHENSIVE CARE
In Embryos we do things, we act with honesty, professionalism and employ the latest technology to achieve what YOU want most: to be parents.
First the doctor will perform an initial evaluation to determine the health status of the couple. The first date is important because the specialist must obtain all relevant information to make a diagnosis and finally propose a treatment.
You will be interested to know that 95% of couples suffer infertility achieve to be parents! The important thing is to approach a specialized institution with all necessary infrastructure to help them achieve conception.
OVULATION INDUCTION
The aim of ovulation induction is to mimic the natural process by which the female body eliminates a single egg that for various reasons, not carried out spontaneously. This is accomplished with two types of medications: anti-oestrogens and human chorionic gonadotropin.
STIMULATION OF OVULATION
This technique aims to increase the chances of becoming pregnant through assisted reproduction.
It is used in those patients undergoing an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) and aims to get as many good quality eggs.
PROGRAMMED COITUS
This is an assisted reproductive technique used in couples who fail to pregnancy and there is a diagnosis of infertility. This technique is proposed for young couples (under 35 years) with infertility shortly (less than 6 months). This method is also used in couples who for moral or religious criteria, artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization is not an option.
INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION
Artificial insemination is a procedure used as one of the first alternative in the management of infertile couples with at least one patent fallopian tube that have not achieved a pregnancy after application of conventional treatments aimed at correcting the causal factors sterility. There homologous artificial insemination is one where you use the partner's sperm and heterologous artificial insemination, when using semen from a donor.
This technique provides the best pregnancy rate, 20-25% chance of pregnancy per attempt.
IN VITRO FERTILIZATION
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is the main treatment for infertility when other methods of assisted reproduction have not succeeded. It is recommended in women with premature ovarian failure, menopause and women who have suffered partial or total loss of their fertility as in the case of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for cancer.
For a successful IVF treatment, you must have healthy oocytes, sperm that can fertilize and a uterus that can sustain a pregnancy.
EGG DONATION
Oocyte donation is raised in couples where the woman has no eggs capable of generating healthy embryos. Through oocyte donation, menopausal women, the elderly, with genetic abnormalities, after several repeated abortions or occult ovarian failure can become mothers.
For this technique, you need an egg donor from 18 to 30 years old, which has no genetic or mental illness and also undergoes a thorough interview and blood work to check her general health.
The advantages of this technique lie in reducing to a minimum the risk of having a baby with a genetic problem or abortion.
The donor will always be anonymous.
SPERM BANK
Donors to our sperm bank are physically and psychologically evaluated and undergo blood studies to rule out genetic diseases, infectious and mental health and to obtain samples from donors of high quality.
We have a Andrology Laboratory and Biology, with fully trained and experienced personnel for the proper selection of donors and ensure that the sperm meets the standards of safety.
ICSI- PICSI
ICSI or intracytoplasmic sperm injection is a technique of assisted reproduction that involves fertilization of the oocytes by injection of sperm into the cytoplasm by a micropipette, after obtaining and preparation of gametes to obtain embryos that are transferable to womb. This technique solves largely male infertility problems.
PRE IMPLANTATION GENETIC DIAGNOSIS
Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is the study of DNA from human embryos to select those that meet certain characteristics and / or eliminate those that carry some type of birth defect.
It is performed in vitro fertilization treatments before implant human embryos into the uterus. Is the diagnosis of the genotype of the embryo for the presence or absence of disease or chromosomal abnormality carried by parents.
PRESERVATION OF FERTILITY
An increasing number of single women who, for various reasons, choose this option to see realized his desire to be mothers.
Our goal is that the first contact with the treatment is as natural and simple as possible. First is arranged an interview with the gynecologist to be responsible for your treatment, then determining the most appropriate procedure for you. Selecting the most appropriate gametes is performed by the medical team looking for the greatest phenotypic and immunological similarity with the receptor.
CARE FOR INFERTILE MALE
During studies of an infertile couple is essential to analyze the male, this analysis consists of performing a detailed medical history and a direct spermatobioscopy, which is the study that values ??mobility, quantity and sperm morphology. It is very important to this study as much as 40 to 50% are male cause of infertility. And this study is both diagnostic and therapeutic.
Other methods of study that will aid in the diagnosis and therapeutic management are:
- Testicular ultrasound
- Growing seminal
- Male hormonal profile
- Karyotype
- Genetic studies (DNA values??)
Maternal-Fetal Medicine by certain evidence, we can identify in the course of pregnancy, most birth defects of the unborn baby. An early diagnosis of congenital defects in the baby in utero is of vital importance, as it gives us the possibility of taking appropriate measures, both during pregnancy and during labor to avoid unnecessary risks to the mother and child.
By Maternal-Fetal Medicine, it is possible to prevent obstetric complications, medical and surgical, which sometimes occur during pregnancy, which can affect the mother and baby.

Sweden Experts perform the First Uterus Transplant

The doctor concluded that the painter suffered from a rare condition called Asherman syndrome and was the first in history to relate the infertility of Kahlo with the accident that occurred in adolescence.
First described in 1894, Asherman's syndrome occurs when the uterine lining, or endometrium, is damaged and form scar tissue. In most cases today, is the result of repeated expansion and curing, a process used to clean the uterus after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion.
This syndrome could not be addressed with existing technology at the time of Frida Kahlo.
Dr. Antelo ensures that this condition was one of the numerous physical consequences Frida suffered after an accident in which a metal penetrated his abdomen, damaging your bone structure and organs, including the uterus.
"This is something that we owed Frida," said the doctor who initiated the investigation that tries to solve a mystery in the life of Mexican painter who died at age 47.
