For more than two decades the success of the Polisano Clinics has been continuously proved through their high quality medical care, their professional and experienced medical staff, as well as latest technology medical equipment. Currently the Poliano Clinics are located only in Buharest and Sibiu, but the group plans to expand to other major cities in Romania.

It all began in the early 90’s in Sibiu, when Ilie Vonica  opened a small clinic in an apartment together with a few colleagues, thus trying to offer his patients a viable alternative to the public health care system. Shortly, Clinica

Polisano became only a segment of the first private integrated group of medical services, as the spectrum of services includes a chain of clinics disposing of their own laboratories in Sibiu and Bucharest, private hospitals, in-vitro fertilization centers, a pharmacy network and drug production. 

Currently, the Polisano group has two multispecialty hospitals in Sibiu, two clinics in Sibiu and three in Bucharest and three laboratories in Sibiu, Bucharest and Miercurea Ciuc.

Our Cardiovascular Surgery clinic has developed into a strong, advanced medical center, at European standards, but with acceptable and decent prices, fitted for the needs of our European patients. Interventional Cardiology

Interventional Cardiology is the golden standard for the diagnosis of the coronary disease and  treatment for the patients with acute coronary  syndromes. The department is equipped with cutting edge angiographs, offering the most complex services and procedures for the treatment of acute myocardial heart attack, cardiac ischemic disease, coronarography, arteriography, coronary angioplasty, aortic aneurysm endoprosthetics, as well as rithmology procedures such as implantation

Orthopedics

Imaging

The mission of Radiology and Imagistics Center is to deal with and treat medical problems using the fastest and most accurate diagnostics methods, which are also the least invasive and radiation free processes. Our center covers all of the medical segments (all of the broad spectrum of possible examinations: cardiac and vascular, mammary, prostate, abdominal, pelvic, cerebral, of the spine and thoracic investigations), offering patients cutting-edge medical equipment, some of the most advanced on the market: MRI, CT, Angiograph, Mammograph, Gamma Camera, Dental CT, Radiography equipment, Echographs.

Maternity ward

Clinica Polisano comes to the support of all mothers-to-be from the moment they decide to have a child, until birth. We offer continuous monitoring to ensure a safe and comfortable delivery for the mother ass well as the safety of the child.

To alleviate the pain induced by labor, we’ve put at the disposal of future mothers the possibility to give birth under water.  Our doctors will be by your side, being on-call for Obstetrics - Gynecology, Neonatology, Intensive Care and Laboratory Departments. Within the Ambulatory Care, Polisano’s Maternity Ward benefits from Tocography, obstetric emergency services, medical genetics and follow-up dispensarization for Neonatology.

ENT

The ENT department of Polisano European Hospital provides patients with accurate diagnosis and modern therapy through the distinct experience of the specialists who also benefit from state of the art medical devices.

The surgical procedures cover a wide pathology range, for adult patients as well as for children: endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery, endoscopic laryngeal microsurgery, middle ear surgery, otoplasties,  adenotonsillar surgery, cervical surgery, surgically implanted auditory prostheses.

The high-tech devices are provided by world leaders in this field : high performance operating  microscope, systems for radiofrequency surgery, video laryngoscope, HD video system, nasal and sinus endoscopes, cranial nerves monitor, shaver system for surgery of the paranasal sinuses and drilling tools, esophagoscopes, etc.

The audiology laboratory ensures an accurate diagnosis of the hearing health at any age, with the aid of objective tests, ranging from the neonatal hearing screening made with otoacoustic emissions, to evoked potentials with signals recorded from the brainstem.
