Endodonty:

If the cavities on your teeth are not treated early, the cavities will go deeper. Sometimes it becomes inflamed, sometimes the teeth lose their vitality on their own. Sometimes it makes an abscess that is big enough to swell your face, and sometimes deep fractures up to the nerve may occur due to a fall or hitting something. Root canal treatment is cleaning caries that reach the nerve of the teeth, removing the nerve and filling the canal inside the tooth root. Generally, root canal treatment is applied to teeth that cause severe pain caused by advanced caries reaching the nerve. With the anesthesia applied to your tooth before the procedure, no pain occurs during the procedure.

Pedodontics ( Children Dentistry )

The first milk teeth, which start to erupt in 6 months, are completed until the age of 2-2.5. There are 20 deciduous teeth, 10 upper and 10 lower. Our aim begins with informing families as soon as their milk teeth erupt and explaining that cleaning should begin even if it is a single tooth. In children aged 2-6, teeth are completely milk teeth. Since the first permanent teeth erupt at the back around the age of 6, it is usually not noticed. Even if it is noticed, it can be mistaken as a milk tooth. At this age, with the control of a physician at least once a year, it is possible to prevent the formation of caries in the existing milk teeth, to treat the caries before they progress, and to maintain oral hygiene with special applications. At the age of 6, the mixed tooth period begins with the eruption of permanent teeth. In this period, you can get through the mixed gear period without any problems with the checks carried out by your doctor at least twice a year.

Periodontology:

Deficiencies in our tooth brushing habits, insufficient brushing, inability to clean effectively, existing veneers, orthodontic wires, lack of saliva or systemic disorders and many different factors can cause food accumulation on the tooth surfaces, inability to clean these residues and settling and hardening with the components in the saliva in the area. Because the smell of uncleaned food also contains bacteria, it affects not only our teeth but also our gums. The hardened and petrified state of these residues is called calculus.

Tartars can occur in the areas that we can see with the eye on the junction of the teeth with the gums, as well as in the parts that we cannot see in the pocket under the gums. This uncleaned calculus both cause infection, odor and bleeding in the gums, as well as gingival recession, and the calculus in deep pockets that we cannot see can progress the infection to the deeper bone and initiate bone destruction. This destruction continues unless the causative factor is eliminated.

Using a special paste for bleeding gums, gargling or trying to reduce the infection by using antibiotics will reduce the problem for a short time only by suppressing it. In a picture ranging from bleeding, infection, gingival recession or bone resorption, treatment cannot be provided unless the agent and bacteria are eliminated and oral hygiene is provided.

Orthodontics:

Dental treatments, which we apply to our patients of all ages, regardless of age, using different materials for the treatment of irregularities in the teeth and/or jaws, are performed in this area. Removable appliances, titanium or ceramic brackets, transparent plaques are the most well-known materials used. Since orthodontic treatments are not short-term, oral hygiene is of great importance. All treatments are carried out, from minor crookedness to all jaw disorders, from narrow jaws to jaws positioned in the front or back.
