Dental Treatments

General Dentistry-Routine cleaning, check-up, aesthetic fillings and extractions 

Restorative Dentistry-Deals with the restoration of diseased, injured or abnormal teeth to normal function.  Includes all aspects of endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics.  This includes crown and bridgework, full dentures, whitening treatments, and implants.

Orthodontics-Treatment of malocclusions, which may result either or both from tooth irregularity and disproportionate jaw

Endodontics (root canal)-Deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and tissues at the root apex.  Eliminates pain by incapacitating the nerve of the tooth, allowing us to salvage the healthy dental tissue and restore it with a crown without extracting tooth. Use the best modern rotational device techniques to accelerate the process.

Periodontics-Includes the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth or their substitutes and the maintenance of the health, function and aesthetics of these structures and tissues.  These include surgery and treatment of the gums, crown elongation, phrenectomy, and problems having to do with oral bleeding and halitosis.

Prosthodontics or Dental Implantology-Includes diagnosis, design and insertion of implant devices and restorations to provide adequate function, comfort and aesthetics.  The newest technique to replace a missing tooth is a dental implant.

Pedodontics-Dental specialty focusing on the treatment of children’s teeth.  Specializes in children up to 12 years old.  Carries the latest orthopaedic techniques and devices that aid in the proper dental and facial development of your child.

Maxilliofacial Surgery-Third molar (wisdom teeth) surgery. Includes oral surgery and orthognathic surgery.
