The Center opened its doors in November 2008 in efforts to serve both, the surrounding community and international visitors, in new and innovative ways. Conveniently located next to 'Regional Private Hospital' (Hospital Privado Regional), CEDyT is dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality, state of the art surgical care in a warm and nurturing environment.

We work with a network of highly trained professionals. All of them are board certified and have proven experience in their respective fields. Our recently inaugurated state-of-the-art facility is 360 square meter with 2 operating suites and 1 procedure room. The post-anesthesia care unit has 2 single recovery rooms and 6 recovery boxes equipped with comfortable massage armchairs.

Dr. Alejandro Correa - Plastic Surgery
In February 2009, while I was on holiday visiting some friends in Bariloche, Argentina, I decided to get a full facial lift with Dr Alejandro Correa at Cedyt. The place was fantastic and very comfortable. Anesthesia was spectacular; I had never had such a good anesthesia application in Norway. Dr. Juan Manuel Bonina – GynecologistOn Friday 24 July, 2009 I was operated at CEDyT by Dr. Juan Manuel Bonina. After several diagnosis studies that Dr. Bonina carry forward, he found two polyps in my uterus which was necessary to operate. I was very scared because it was the first time that I would be surgically intervened but I finally accepted the challenge. Since I got into CEDyT that 24th of July I felt accompanied and contained by the whole group of professionals; the administrative team, the anaesthetist, the nurse, Dr. Bonina and the rest of his team. The attention was excellent; there are no words to explain how good patient care at CEDyT is. I must also highlight and say thank you for the high level of human qualities that they have.

Why Argentina?
In recent years Argentina has significantly increased its status as an international medical provider. Why Bariloche?
San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche, is a city located in the north Patagonia, situated in the foothills of the Andes, surrounded by lakes (Nahuel Huapi, Gutiérrez Lake, Moreno Lake and Mascardi Lake) and mountains (Tronador, Cerro Catedral, Cerro López). It is famous for skiing but also known for sight-seeing, water sports, trekking and climbing. Cerro Catedral is one of the most important ski centers in South America.

Tourism, both domestic and international, is the main economic activity of Bariloche, all year around. The main ski station is the one at Cerro Catedral. During the summer, beautiful beaches such as Playa Bonita and Villa Tacul welcome sun-bathers and some brave lake swimmers (the waters, from melting snow, are always very cold). The fishing season is another great attraction. Bariloche is the biggest city of a huge Lakes District, and serves as a base for many excursions in the region. Trekking in the mountains, almost completely wild and uninhabited with the exception of a few high-mountain huts operated by Club Andino Bariloche, is also a popular activity. The city is also famous for its chocolates.

Bariloche has an international airport with direct flights from Santiago de Chile (Chile) and Sao Paulo (Brazil). It also has several daily flights from Buenos Aires and other main cities in Argentina.
