I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and have never worn contacts as I was terrified of anything getting near or touching my eyes. I was mortified of going to the eye doctor as even the pressure machine that blew air scared me. I couldn't be more happy with the care and patience the staff showed me. I am pretty sure they had to run tests multiple times as I kept fidgeting from being nervous. The only thing I would warn of is that my eyes were very sensitive to sunlight about an hour after surgery, and navigating via the subway was a bit hard in my condition. Ana was able to assist me with translation and interpreting my concerns and questions. She was so kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure. The interior of Ruby was nice. Even the consultation room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Aside from the beauty consultant, there was also another staff who was constantly with us to assist. The consultation with the doctor was brief but comprehensive. I want to commend the doctor who did my consultation because he was so friendly and patient, and really took his time to explain everything to me. I constantly asked if he could do some of my pegs and he kindly explained what he thought would look better on me. I felt safe.
