My name is Kim and I had the pleasure of finding this wonderful retreat. Janet and her team were absolutely wonderful and each session had its own unique touch and it was what I feel a transformative week for me. I stayed at the Maui retreat cottage and it was so clean, cute and tidy. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous!!! I was greeted every morning by a pot belly pig named Harley. We were great friends by the end of my stay. I was really hurting when I arrived from past trauma and a recent death of my husband. I felt lost. When I left I was refreshed and had a whole new outlook on life. I will never forget my week at the Maui retreat!!! It was so special and Janet has a way of knowing just what you need. A beautiful spot perched on a hill outside Bologna. A rambling property with excellent pools and spa. Nice rooms, while a bit on the small side, are comfortable and well-appointed. In general our stay was wonderful and normally I’d rate it five stars. However, the staff at the restaurant and bar - particularly the head waiter - were unwelcoming, cold, and at times borderline rude. It was a shame that our stay was marred by unpleasant interactions with these staff members, particularly since other staff (front desk, spa) were welcoming and warm.
