About - Dr. Blanca B. Figueroa Magana
Dr. Blanca B. Figueroa Magana did a fellowship in Retina and Vitreous in the Retina service at the prestigious hospital “Dr. Luis Sánchez Bulnes”, which is considered one of the best programs in Latin America. She also did a second fellowship in Ocular Echography under direct tutelage of Dr. Eduardo Moragrega A., world pioneer of ophthalmic echography.
She has given lectures and presented clinical research works in several ophthalmological meetings, national and internationally. Dr. Figueroa has been awarded numerous prizes, including the Tyson Research Initiative Award, awarded by the PanAmerican Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO) and the Biennial Ophthalmology Award, given by the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology, among others.
She’s an expert in the medical and surgical treatments of retinal and macular diseases, with over 600 procedures for the treatment of Age-Related Macular Disease, retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy and vascular occlusions, among others. She is fully bilingual, speaking fluent english and spanish.

I had a great experience having the Lasik procedure done at Perfect Vision. Dr. Carlos Lamm was excellent! He examined me and explained to me (so that I can understand) the procedure and choices I had to make. The procedure was quick and I had results right away! I was given numbers in case of emergency or questions and a check up. After one month.....still doeing great and had NO problems. This was a great experience!
