Dr. Abou Bakr completed his graduation (MBBCh) from the Cairo University, Egypt in 1986. Later on, Dr. Abou Bakr acquired his Masters in Cardiology from the same institution in 1993. In 2006, he completed his MD in Cardiology. Dr. Abou Bakr started his career as a Specialist in National Heart Institute, Egypt in 1994. He then joined as a Cardiology Specialist at hospital in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) in 2004. In 2007, Dr. Abou Bakr moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to practice at a hospital in An Ain as a Specialist in Cardiology. He has also practiced part-time at the Nile Hospital, Egypt in 1990 -2001. Dr. Abou Bakr has more than 25 years of experience in his field. His key areas of expertise include non-invasive cardiac procedures such as adult trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography, pediatric trans-thoracic echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, treadmill stress ECG and HOLTER monitoring. He also holds memberships in the Egyptian Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology, European Society of cardiovascular Imaging.
