Dr. Franke completed his Masters in Physics from the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany, 1982. He then went on to pursue his PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, 1985. He was then approved as Physician (Dr. med.), Technical University of Munich, Germany, 1986. Subsequently, he completed his Specialization in Neurology (Facharzt Neurologie), Technical university of Munich, Germany, 1991. He is member of the Bavarian State Medical Association and Professor of Neurology at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Dr. Franke has over 25 years of experience as a Neurologist in Munich, Germany and has published more than 100 papers on the subject in peer- reviewed journals.
