Dr. Maysoon Kamil Hassan, Pathologist - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Dr. Maysoon completed her graduation (M.B. Ch.B. ) at the Baghdad University, Iraq in 1984. Subsequently, she completed her Masters (M.Sc) in Clinical Pathology at the Baghdad Medical College, Iraq in 1991. She became a Fellow of the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization in Pathology (FICMS Path) in 1998. Dr. Maysoon started her career in 1985 at the Baghdad Medical College, where she took on multiple roles in teaching as an Instructor, Lecturer and Assistant Professor. Post 2005, she moved to Abu Dhabi, where she was the Head of the Laboratory Department at a private hospital. In 2013, Dr. Maysoon joined a well-known private hospital in Abu Dhabi, heading Histopathology and Cytology units. Dr. Maysoon has more than 30 years of experience in her field. She has a keen interest in research and has published papers in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Maysoon has a strong industry interface and has participated in a number of conferences and CMEs.
