Dr. Praphool Khurana, Pathologist - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Dr. Khurana completed his graduation (MBBS) at the J.N. Medical College , Aligarh Muslim University, India in1984. He then went on to pursue his Masters in Pathology (MD) from the same institution in 1986. Dr. Khurana started his career at the J.N. Medical College , Aligarh Muslim University as a demonstrator initially and then as a lecturer in 1987. In 1988, he moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ( KSA) where he practiced as a Specialist in Histopathology. Post 1995, Dr. Khurana moved back to India where he was the Head of Department and the Senior Consultant in Pathology at the NMC Imaging and Diagnostic Center, VIMHANS, New Delhi. In 2009, Dr Khurana joined the Super Religare Laboratories in Gurgaon, Haryana as the Section Head of Histopathology and Cytopathology. In 2010 , he moved to the Columbia Asia Hospital as the Chief of Lab Services and Senior Consultant. He then moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2014 where he practiced as a Histopathologist Specialist at a private hospital in Ras Al Khaimah. Dr. Khurana has more than 30 years of experience in his field. He has a keen interest for research and has published a number of papers in journals of international repute. He is extensively experienced as a lecturer and has also attended a number of international medical conferences and CMEs. He holds professional memberships in key organizations which include the International Medical Sciences Academy, Indian Medical Association and the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists.
