About Dr. Ercan Çalışkan
Prof. Dr. Ercan Çalışkan completed his medical education at Gülhane Military Medical Faculty. He worked as a general practitioner in the Naval Forces for 3 years. After completing his specialist training in the Dermatology Department of the same faculty, he worked at the Dermatology Clinic of Gölcük Military Hospital. In 2011, he started teaching at the Dermatology Department of GATA Gülhane Medical Faculty and continued at the Health Sciences University after 2016. Since his retirement in 2025, he has been working as a Professor of Dermatology at Elos Klink.
In his clinical practice, he deals with chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and vitiligo, as well as cosmetology, dermatological surgery and laser treatments. The practical training he gives in Turkey and abroad is mostly based on autologous fat and skin-based regenerative dermatological techniques. His scientific studies and publications continue largely with clinical studies and animal experiments on these subjects.
