Dr. Andrea Cestari is an experienced and dedicated surgeon who performs minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery for various urologic diseases and cancers.

Dr. Cestari took part in numerous procedures perfomed for the first time nationally and internationally:

1998 -  the first laparoscopic radical prostatectomy surgeries in Italy.

2000 -  the first laparoscopic renal cryoablation cancer procedures performed in Europe.

2001 - the first robotic radical prostatectomy surgery performed in Italy.

2011 -  the first robotic pyeloplasty procedures performed for the first time ever with the new Single Site DaVinci robotic platform.

Dr. Cestari is a renowned surgeon, known all over Europe and appreciated for his excellent results in laparoscopic and robotic surgery in urology. Over the years he has been invited to participate at numerous live surgery sessions and as a speaker during international and national congress events,.

Dr. Cestari has published numerous works in indexed scientific journals. Besides laparoscopic and robotic surgery, Dr. Cestari is also trained in endourological and traditional open surgery.
