Professional experience

• 1990 - 2003 - Director of ClinicalSurgery at San Giuseppe Hospital, Milan.
• 2003 - appointed Director of Clinical Surgery 1 at the state university, Polyclinic University Hospital (Mangiagalli andRegina Elena), Milan.
• Since1990 he performed more than 50,000 surgical interventions,including over 10,000 using modern minimally invasive laparoscopic and thoracoscopic techniques.
• In the 1900s Prof. Roviaro performed the world's first major thoracoscopic interventions on the lungs and
  mediastinum.
• He has written over 500 publications and brought numerous contributions to Italian and international journals, and is a reviewer for numerous scientific periodicals.
