Stem cell treatment for Different Cancer Disease
Protocol: (ALSC) Activated Lymphocytes stimulation AND stem cell
Basis of ALSC therapy: To activate the immunologic system to recognize tumor antigens and respond against them destroying malignant cells.
Benefits expected from ALSC therapy:
- Increase quality of life based on Karnofsky scale.
- Fluid control (ascites, pleural effusion, etc).
- Limit and decrease progress of metastatic injuries

Indicated for solid tumors:
- Kidney Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Gastrointestinal Cancer
- Cervical Cancer
- Bladder Cancer
- Prostate Cancer
- Colon Cancer
- Melanoma
- Lymphoma
- Breast Cancer
Not indicated for:
Acute Leukemia
Patients Exclusions:
- Patients with current acute infection.
- Patients with acute kidney insufficiency (Creatine higher than 2.5)
- Patients with evaluation of 6 or higher on the Karnofsky scale.
- Patients with coagulation alterations.
- Patients with acute Liver insufficiency or with Encephalopathy
- Patients with anesthesia problems.
- Patients' younger than18 yrs old.
Timing: Must have 3 weeks free of radiation or chemotherapy previous procedure or lymphocytes higher than 20%. Subsequent radiation or chemotherapy not recommended for 2 months after procedure.
Dose: 2 to 3 doses recommended for better results. Each dose with 75 days apart (+/- 15 days)
Secondary effects: Minimal discomfort on injections sites. Most patients do not suffer any secondary effects, but possible effects include chills, headaches and dizziness during and 3 hours after procedure.
Procedure: 3 day procedure where patient will be 3 hours approximately at Progencell each day. They will have accommodation arranged at a local Hospital close to Progencell and with transportation included. We recommend the patient to travel on day 0 and day 4. (Depending on the case, patient will be able to travel on day 3).
