Experts from STEM CELL THERAPY 4 ME in collaboration with several European Universities and biotech industry developed unique and patented anti-cancer vaccine  which is derived from patient´s own immune cells that can be easily obtained from peripheral blood. These cells are cultured in vitro to obtain dendritic cells. Dendritic cells are professional cells of the immune system capable of inducing strong anti-cancer responses. In some occasions it is also beneficial to obtain freshly removed tumor tissue from patient undergoing elective surgery. This way the vaccine is directly tailored for each individual patient. In case the autologous tumor tissue is not available, allogeneic tumor cell lines characterized for the presence of universal tumor-associated antigens can be provided instead as a source of tumor antigen. 

In general, there are no serious side effects associated with vaccine administration. The patient quality of life may improve dramatically. This type of vaccine can be also produced and administered

Our clinical specialists have more than 15 years of experience in cancer immunotherapy. It is possible to produce dendritic cell vaccines for clinical application under good manufacturing practice (GMP) rules. 

DC vaccine is administered subcutaneously, first 3 doses weekly, then every 3 weeks. It is highly recommended to combine DC vaccine which specifically activates immune system against tumor cells with additional non-specific immune stimulation with NK stimulatory agens ImunoBran and metronomic cyclophosphamide to enhance anti-cancer response of DC vaccine.    

Dendritic Cell Vaccine Preparation

Once the patient qualifies for dendritic cell anti-cancer vaccination based on evaluation by a certified SCT4ME doctor at Stem Cell Therapy 4 Me Clinic, the 2 day program at Vilnius Clinic containing blood collection is scheduled as follows:

• Day 1 – Arrival to Vilnius Clinic (individually scheduled, typically by 2pm), pre-op clinical examination and collection of 300-450ml of peripheral venous blood by doctor at SCT4ME Vilnius Clinic. Rest at the hotel based on patient´s choice (not part of the treatment cost).
• Day 2 – Departure from Vilnius back home.

Please, allow approximately 3 weeks for dendritic cell vaccine preparation and quality control checks. The vaccine is then shipped deeply frozen on dry ice (at -70°C) in aliquots to patient´s home address or to his/her local hospital where the patient is responsible for storage at -80°C freezer. Typically 816 doses of dendritic cell vaccine are prepared and given subcutaneously according to the vaccination protocol. Each patient is instructed how to use it by responsible medical personel from SCT4ME Clinic.

The costs include blood collection, vaccine preparation and single shipment on dry ice. Patient can ask for each individual vaccine aliquot shipment for extra costs.

Other Procedures

Payment at Stem Cell Therapy 4 Me Clinic is possible only in EUR, preferably by money transfer in advance, at least 3 working days prior to the procedure.
