Knee Meniscus Repair

Meniscus repair surgery is a procedure to fix a torn meniscus, which is a C-shaped piece of cartilage in the knee that acts as a shock absorber between the thigh bone (femur) and shin bone (tibia). The meniscus plays a crucial role in stabilizing the knee and protecting the joint from wear and tear.

- **Procedure**: Meniscus repair surgery involves stitching the torn pieces of the meniscus back together. This procedure is typically done arthroscopically, using small incisions and a camera to guide the instruments. - **Eligibility**: Not all meniscus tears are repairable. The success of repair depends on the location of the tear.
