Με το Dr Νικόλαο Δερβένη ήμουν συμμαθητής από το νηπιαγωγείο μέχρι και το τέλος του Λυκείου. Θυμάμαι πάντα πόσο μελετηρός ήταν, είχαμε ευγενή ανταγωνισμό στο Λύκειο Θετικές επιστήμες, και έχει απίστευτα καλή μνήμη, για αυτό άλλωστε σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, ένα από τα καλύτερα της Ελλάδας.
