PLDD laser decompression of intervertebral discs

Professor Daniel Choy (Daniel Choi) invented a method for treating Pldd in the mid-1980s. The first clinical case of Pldd was registered in February 1986 by the Department of Neurosurgery of the University of Graz (Austria) with the participation of Professor Peter Ascher (Peter Asher).

Since that time, Professor Daniel Choy has trained more than 300 orthopedic doctors and neurosurgeons from around the world to the Pldd method. To date, there are more than 100,000 pldd produced worldwide.

The treatment of the first patient in February 1986 was preceded by 2 years of experiment by professor daniel choy at the center of research and development of the "robert case" saint luke hospital of the University of Colombia (New York).
