Bio

Cofounder of the Institute of Human Fertility – inSer, a pioneer Human Fertility Center and Human IVF Institute in Medellín since1994.

Worked as a gynecologist and laparoscopic surgeon for 3 years at the Clínica del Prado and of the Institute of Human Fertility – INSER in Medellín, Colombia until 1999.

In 2002 she rejoined the medical team at the Institute of Human Fertility – inSer playing a key role in the development and expansion of the Institute´s clinical and laboratory programs. Dr. Posada is currently the IVF Laboratory Director at Inser in Medellín, Pereira, and Montería.

Associate professor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Program at the Universidad de Antioquia and CES University in Medellín, Colombia.

AWARDS

In 2003 Dr. Posada obtained the Research Award of the Asociación Antioqueña de Ginecología y Obstetricia.

She has also written articles for scientific journals and chapters in medical textbooks.
